Who knew that letters could become so erotic and sensual to read that they practically singe the fingers?  It turns out
that Eve Carmichael started her own little fire burning in Reserve Army soldier Sean O'Callahan's heart.  Eve and
Sean were work mates when Sean was called to duty in Iraq.  Before he leaves Sean asks Eve to write him.  After all,
they're friends and he wants more than anything to keep in touch with her.

As their letters go back and forth they begin to heat up, fantasies develop and take on a life of unbridled passion
between them.  Sean clings to each letter from Eve and soon he is dreaming of making love to her and becoming much
more than friends.  The letters keep him sane when all hell is breaking loose around him.

Celebrating her thirtieth birthday Eve and her friends have a night out at 'Male Call', a male strip club.  Of course Eve
doesn't know about the surprise that's waiting there just for her.  It's going to be a night she'll never forget.  The only
shadow hanging over her birthday celebration is that she hasn't received a letter from Sean in weeks, so she's worried
about what may have happened to him, but not for long....

Male Call is an inspiring book and a wonderful way to remember the men who fight for us and freedom in Iraq.  It kept
me thinking of them and the uncertainties they live with each day, which Sean shares with Eve in their letters.

I enjoyed the way that Denise Agnew builds the relationship between Sean and Eve through the old fashioned way of
letter writing. They share their desires and fantasies, which I found so very intimate; it just about made me melt in my chair.
It was a really seductive way to bring Eve and Sean together.  I especially liked the way they finally reunite after Sean's
been overseas for so long.

The way they explore their relationship after getting together again meshed so well that I felt it was almost real.  What
their desires start with, because of their letters and then when these desires come to fruition rocks their world, and to an
extent mine.  The power of their sexual attraction and demands on each other when they get together was heartwarming
as well as deliciously sexy.  I like that they explore their feelings from their letters when they finally are able to.  It is a
superior story.  It was also a good way to acknowledge the people who are serving in Iraq.  It explores the intimate
emotions of both the person in Iraq and the one waiting at home.
Male Call is a happily ever after, feel good kind of
story, with a bit of realism thrown in.  I normally stay away from books that delve into wars, but this one was compelling to
read and a feel good story in the process.  It really is a book worth reading.
