All Lindsay Willows wants is a simple life. However, being the daughter of a vampire and a fay pretty much makes
that impossible.  Now, thanks to some attacking wereleopards, she’s found out that she is the mate of a dark fay
prince she has never met, and that there are those that will stop at nothing to make sure that she never mates with him.

Exavier Kedman is the front man for the band Loup Garou and he wants Lindsay to return to a field she left three
years ago. Lindsay can’t explain why she has such a hard time saying no to a man she has just met or why she feels so
strongly about Exavier.  Lindsay has to confront the demons of her past and present if she wants to grab the man
she was made for and have the life she dreams of.

Loup Garou is written in first person from Lindsay's viewpoint.  I cannot say that I am a fan of this in fiction, but
after the first chapter, I was more comfortable with the rhythms of Lindsay’s voice.  She is witty and energetic, and
easily a person you would want to be friends with. Lindsay would be your perfect friend: beautiful, funny, talented,
immortal, rich, nice--the one you love and hate all at the same time because there is absolutely nothing wrong with
her…the bitch!

There is witty dialogue, plenty of action packed scenes, and a primal attraction between Lindsay and Exavier.
However, the character of Exavier doesn’t seem to come alive except in relation and interaction with Lindsay. It is
her response to him that makes him real and this may be a by-product of the story being written in first person.

Loup Garou is a fun romp with some dark moments. You get shape-shifters, demon slayers, dark princes, vampires
and the fay, all wrapped up in a romance. There is not enough nooky, but I enjoyed the ride through this fantasy
land of the paranormal. Lindsay is an entertaining character, and I cannot wait to see her again in future stories
about each of her friends.
